This timeline shows the leaders of the Soviet Union and when they ruled starting with Kerensky, the head of the Provisional Government, and ending with Gorbachev in 1991 when the Russian Republic was formed.

First download the free trial version of RFFlow. It will allow you to open any chart or timeline and make modifications.

Once RFFlow is installed, you can open the above timeline in RFFlow by clicking on timeline_soviet.flo. From there you can zoom in, edit, and print this sample timeline. It is often easier to modify an existing timeline than to draw it from scratch.

To draw this timeline without downloading it, run RFFlow and click on the More Shapes button. Scroll to the Timeline stencil and click on it. Then click the Add Stencil button.
